Aodhan Cullen, Statcounter.com

Aodhan Cullen is the CEO of StatCounter, a Dublin-based web statistics company which he founded at the age of 16. In 2008 the company surpassed two million members globally. StatCounter currently monitors three million websites and tracks over 10 billion pageloads per month. Cullen is the 2008 Eircom Golden Spider Internet Hero and the 2007 Businessweek Young European Entrepreneur of the Year.

Eamonn Fallon, CEO, Daft Media

Eamonn is co-founder and CEO of Daft Media, one of Ireland’s largest online media groups. Since graduating from Trinity Engineering in 1999, Eamonn has been involved in a number of software and online startups. In 2001, he co-founded Daft Media with his brother Brian and together with their team they have grown its flagship title Daft.ie into Ireland’s largest property advertising medium. 9 out of every 10 properties put up for sale in Ireland are listed on Daft.ie. In 2008 Daft Media acquired rival property websites property.ie and rent.ie. They also invested in the popular community website boards.ie.

Colm Long, Head of Online Operations (EMEA), Facebook

Colm Long is Head of Facebook’s Online Operations in EMEA with responsibility for user, advertiser, media and sales operations in the region. Colm has comprehensive experience with multi-national companies having previously worked with Google, where he held several senior roles during his 5 year tenure including Director of Online Sales and Operations for Northern Europe and Director of Sales Operations for Emerging Markets. He also was on the team that established Google’s EMEA headquarters in Dublin.

Conor O’Neill, CEO, LouderVoice

Conor O’Neill has been building software for the mobile and consumer markets since 1992 in companies such as S3, Integral Design, Xilinx and McAfee. He founded Argolon Solutions in 2004 to provide services in the areas of Data Mining and Business Intelligence to an international client base. Argolon launched the LouderVoice consumer reviews web-site in 2007 and added a B2B API in late 2008.

LouderVoice review-enables businesses and is seen as a recession-busting service by its customers. Conor is also heavily involved in the Irish start-up community through CorkOpenCoffee, it@cork, Web2Ireland.org and various BarCamps.

Gail Power, Senior Manager, Google

Gail Power is one of Google’s UK and Ireland Online Sales & Operations managers and is responsible for the AdWords sales targets and initiatives within the region.

Previously, Gail worked as a Programme Manager with Microsoft, and before that as a Management Consultant in Accenture, specialising in eCommerce solutions, primarily in the FMCG and DotCom start-up sectors. Gail, originally from Belfast, is a Business and Psychology graduate from the University of Aston in Birmingham.

Martha Rotter, Internet Evangelist, Microsoft

Martha Rotter is a member of the Developer and Platform Group in Microsoft Ireland. She moved to Dublin in 2007 from Microsoft headquarters in Seattle, Washington, where she spent six years developing test tools and frameworks for the Silverlight and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) teams. Currently Martha spends her time with developers and designers in Ireland and Northern Ireland educating them and helping to create cutting edge experiences and solutions.

Since joining Microsoft, Martha has been working with web and desktop client development technologies and continues to enjoy learning about the latest and greatest for developers.  Outside of Microsoft, Martha enjoys working with community organizations including Ireland Girl Geek Dinners, OpenCoffee Dublin and the Irish Internet Association.
